@ SBW. How would Rafael Marquez deal with the speed, defense, power, and counter punching skills of Rigondeaux? Would he have been able to find a way to win and possibly knock him out or would Rigo outbox Marquez easily?
Marquez has been pretty successful against speedy southpaws such as Mark Johnson, Tim Austin, and Silence Mabuza so it's not out of the question that Marquez could find some way to win.

Very intriguing match up. 50/50 for me.

    Rigo wins.

Marquez's wins over Austin and Johnson are very good, but both had been around for awhile and were starting to slip.

Rigo. He was really ****ing good. One of the most underrated modern fighters imo. I like both the Marquezs but he just wouldnt be quick enough to catch or avoid Rigo

Rafa Marquez is a super underrated puncher I think he catches Rigo. And Rigo's defense is not going to be as effective against someone with the timing and accuracy of Marquez

I agree and I don’t think Rigo is made for the type of fight Rafa could bring out. A bit of a front runner.

Rigo easily. Then he opens up his tool chest and does the Markant (a term officially used to describe stabbing an opponent in the buttocks) taking Marquez completely by surprise.
