Man, this would be a fantastic fight !!! I would pick Medel, I think he is the better fighter.....but Marquez was skilled enough in his prime to make this fight a tough one !! This content is protected This content is protected :bbb
Medel would starch him sooner or later.Too much awkwardly effective offensive ability and durability for Marquez in an attrition fight. Too sneaky for the way he sets up his powershots off the ropes for the straight-line with the feet textbook Marquez in a chessmatch, who i can see trying to establish his jab and combos while standing right in front of Jose and eating some massive punches thrown from those odd angles. Medel much more seasoned and relaxed against a wider variety of solid to great opposition as well, and while level of comp isn't everything by any means, i don't see Marquez as having the natural talent(physically or technically) to overcome the deficit. Could well be a great competitive action fight though.
