    This guys weird.

Quits after being thumbed earlier in his career when he should be motived, at the age of 38 years and years past his best he losses a narrow split decision to Zab Judah and is dead even with Cory Spinks.

    What was up with Pineda?

Earlier in his career, he was basically just a guy who relied on his power to win fights. He became a lot cagier in the latter portion of his career.

Shame it took him so damned long, huh?

Could of really been something otherwise.

yea the judah fight was closer than it should have been, he kinda toyed with him for a while and then waited to long to make the win more one sided. i remeber in the 10th or so judah kinda did a threatening jesture across his throat and preceeded to knock him down. to be fair pineda wasnt really a young gun at that point and did look decent

Yeah. The way he ruined a still-viable Oba Carr was something else.

Pineda was a top lightweight early in his career who was VERY SKILLFUL.Next thing I know he's fighting Mark Breland. You should see Tomas Molinare's career if you want to talk about weird!
