****ing joke fight. Sturm knows he can't handle the top level guys. Just look what happened when he fought Castillejo the first time, and he struggled beating him convincingly the second time. He's been fighting mandatory cans since.

for the life of me i dont get the sturm hate on here... people say soo many better options then hearns and look who he chooses. i came up with somethin. MAYBE hearns was the only willing challenger to go to germany to face sturm... which top MW has called sturm out? i dont member

Anyone consider if Hearns managed the upset?

At 154 Hearns was way too skinny and looked weak. The Yorgey fight he came in at his lightest weight ever. He was beating Yorgey pretty easy early on by outboxing him, but his punches weren't doing any damage. I'll always remember that KO, Hearns fell backwards like a tree, that's after wobbling around the ring like newborn girrafe. But I think maybe he made himself weight drained, and that he'd make a decent MW. Ever since that fight though, his confidence seemed shattered.

 

Not not all germans, i am german and i hope Hearns will knock Sturm out.

Sturm is a paper champ, a shame of boxing.
