    "My viewpoint is this; forget about boxing, in life in general if you cheated - if you got caught cheating on your taxes, if you cheated on your wife - if you did something bad, if you get caught, most likely human nature would tell you it's not the first time. And if you look at that Cotto fight, and the way that Miguel's face was all bashed up (it's hard to believe) that Margarito didn't cheat. I'm sorry to say that, I don't have any proof of that. But that is the prevailing opinion of eveybody I come in contact with, who watched that fight, who follows this sport, and that is my gut instinct as well."

    My gut feeling is that Margarito has never ever knowingly cheated. Wow. I have an opinion too. :happy

    I totally agree.

    Where's the disgraceful low life fatso Freddy-Wak to come and try to defend this too?, if defending Castillo for not making weight twice is not enough then this should be it.

    We know you're Mexican and you would support anything Mexican including ****, just try to save face for once.

    You don't become a world champion by cheating alone. Obviously Margarito's incredible work ethic, chin, and resolve were what got him close to the top.

    But of course what has happened casts doubt on the Cotto fight. Rafael phrased this very well.

    Damn, ouch.

    I actually think Freddy's doing a good thing. Margarito should be given a fair trial even on ESB. Freddy hasn't done anything that any of us wouldn't have done if it had been one of our favorite fighters. The guy makes sense, has the background in the sport to look at it and study it and put forth his argument.

    Nobody should take a guy like Scar seriously. He has an agenda. Freddy doesn't, he is just trying to give Margarito some slack before any conclusive evidence is brought to the table. If he doesn't like it, instead of calling him names, he should stay out of his threads and watch Mayweather vs Baldomir.

    This is gonna be a very one-sided poll. Margarito has put his entire career in question, not just the fight with Cotto.
