I would honestly be very disappointed if Floyd picks Canelo. The guy just got finished struggling with Gomez, FFS.

 

I think the plan was to announce a Khan fight, but those got thrown under the bus. He was always gonna fight a GBP fighter.

Although I would also be highly disappointed as well in a FMJ vs Canelo fight...my question to you is: Are you sure you saw the same Canelo vs Gomez fight as I did? I saw NO struggle at all!!!

 

this fight can wait 12 months and be that much bigger and more competitive. Alvarez will be in for a long night if this is the fight. I'm holding out hope it is Cotto.

 

I really hope it's not Canelo. That's a fight that has beat down written all over it. Alvarez is not even close to being ready for Mayweather yet.

 

I'd lay money on Alvarez for the win. He's got more KO power than anyone Floyd's ever fought and I could see Floyd over looking Canelo right before heading to prison. Probably be some sweet odds.

The big shame is that Pacquiao is so clearly ducking (duck via promoter is a duck all the same).

Canelo is a good fight, but he should fight Sergio first. That's the legacy making fight right now and we all know it.

Also, Canelo can fight an elite fighter in the meantime and him and mayweather can have a legit superfight after Floyd does his time.

 

if its canelo..maybe its becuz..30 million people in mexico watch his fights...

latin community especially the mexican/mexican american community will buy the crap out this fight......

it wont matter if canelo...loses...there will be no shame at the end of his career..if his loss...was to floyd..... and the experience will make him a better fighter...


and if canelo wins..... he will be in the fast track...to being...the biggest star in the sport.....
