What do bicpes have to do with punching power? And I mentioned the hand wraps because in the Mtwaga fight he had to re-wrap them and he suddenly did not have the KO power he had in other fights. WTF? Can't anyone give their opinion anymore?

One thing they should fix at boxrec is Marquez height, he is listed at 5'5 and Juanma at 5'7. Marquez looks taller than Juanma.

The way he throws his punches you can tell he has power, and juanma was weak in that fight, so he moved up.

hooks an uppercuts are from the biceps, straights are from the triceps.

like the same people picking calderon not giving segura credit. big difference was calderon was expected to beat segura, in this case juanma is expected to beat rafa. don't worry, I'll still give juanma credit for beating rafa, rafa should not be an easy fight for anyone even at his stage, but juanma's not getting full credit that vasquez got. I think even if rafa was to pull an upset of juanma it won't be rafa's best win. I'd still rate the first vasquez fight and the too sharp johnson victories over juanma.

    I just saw the weigh-in

    Rafa looked bigger.

Strange since JML always enjoyed a heavy size advantage over all of his opponents.

too much of a step up in competition for juanma, if his team didn't baby him so much and fed him some live dogs before this fight he'd probably be able to squeek out a W but he's been fed a steady diet of fighters he should be able to flatten in 3 rounds and had trouble with a couple of them so I can't see him coping with the experience, toughness and power of Marquez.
