I watched fellow poster Raff fight last night. He lost a close decision to a guy guy who was 2 & 0. Put up a great effort and should be proud of himself for getting in and having a go at 33.
?? According to Boxrec Adam King won on SD & is 27 http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=485101&cat=boxer
He fought amateur it was his first fight. I had a yarn with him after the fight and he has been training sparing for years and just wanted to have a go before it was to late. Good on him I say. Also his name actually is Raff.
Thats a great effort Raff....takes some balls to get in the ring and put it on the line. SD, bad luck on that, these ones bite hard.
Thanks guys, thanks crusher for the chat last night, had a blast doing it, proud of myself for getting in there, lost to the better fighter on the night, I may have lost the decision, but won so many other things.
Congratulations Raff, theres no feeling quite like fighting in front of your friends and family :good All the best mate
Well said. :good The result isn't really that important; it's the act of getting in there and having a go that is. Congrats.
Probably not mate, at this point in my life I want to concentrate more time with the wife and kids, that being said I'd stay in shape in case I got the urge again, thanks for all the feedback guys, I've been so blown away by such positive comments from people it's amazing.
