Well hes a huge man regardless.

Even if he was cut up like Wlad he'd prob still be 280+

If anything, Povetkin regressed during his time with Teddy. His body movement improved a lot, but his accuracy and workrate suffered a lot and that's what made him an Olympic gold medalist. The problem is that Teddy was trying to train him with a style that could have beaten Wlad, but Pocetkin just never really picked it up. He didn't look good against Huck, but I'd hope he looks better now that he's had longer with his new trainer.

And he'd still be slow as ****. Considering that, in my opinion, he wins fights by wearing people down with his mass, leaning a lot on the inside in the early rounds to tire out opponents, I can't help but think that getting more massive is a good thing for him, unless it kills his endurance. It's not as if he knows how to box.

Great weight for the Rock. With this era being so **** (The shittest of all time apparently) obviously a unified lineal champ from the last amazing era must be spectacular. No way a guy like that would get dominated constantly in this "**** era". Going how **** this era is it's quite clear that the former unified lineal champ should make mince meat of Povetkin tomorrow.

i'm with you, all this BS about his weight the last 4 months and not one mention (except by me) the guy has not beaten a ranked opponent since 2005.
they think 40 years old means nothing if he comes in not looking like arreola. he hasnt fought in 15 months, and when he did it was against utter crap. lets give him props for being paid to come in at a respectable weight ya know

    Nice sarcasm!

Povetkin sparred 135 rounds for this fight under the guidance of Kostya Tszyu.

Rahman from what I hear didn't do much and looks like sh*t.

And that's from one of Povetkin's sparring partners.

    Place your bets accordingly.

Rahman's the same weight as he was vs Wlad. Make of that what you will.

    he is fat.

what do you say about him not beating a top 10 guy since 2005? does that matter to you when making your picks as he nears his 40th birthday? and he is fat?

I suspect Povetkin dominates him and stops him around the 7th.
