His plan is showing up and getting paid. That's it.

If he's looking for the early KO and plans on using his weight to push him around, he's got about 5 rounds, max. I would definitely bet on the under in this one if an under of 9.5 was presented.

Exactly. Rahman might try to land a ko shot here and there but its clear he's just showing up to get paid. Povetkin really needs to go out, look good, and score a stoppage here. There's no reason an overweight, shot, 40 year Rahman, who hasn't fought in well over a year should give Povetkin any trouble.

Kalle Sauerland already said if Povetkin disposes of Rahman quickly, next stop is Wlad in early 2013.

No, Pulev is in good shape. Povetkin, on the other hand, is in GREAT shape.

I really hope that fight happens next. Outside of Haye, Povetkin is probably the next best opponent Wlad could face. Even though Wlad will be a big favorite and Povetkin's stock is dropping I still like that fight.

Nobody looks like a real Heavyweight Boxer!

They are Heavyweights! Yes but it they are a shame for boxing. Nobody is ripped and looks to be in good shape.

Hasim looks like new icing on 2 week old cake. His reflexes won't be any better than his last few bouts and that will not be enough against this guy. Povetkin throws a real nice left uppercut in there and there is no way Rahman had adequate preperation in training for that specific punch.

It will be interesting to see the effect of Kostya Tszyu and how that plays out. This may not be enough of a test to gauge it, but it's a start anyway.

all that mass IMO didn't make rock too effective. he was pretty muscled up in his series of c and d level fights in the mid/late 2000's on like versustv (and earlier vs tua) and he was a total sloppy plodder.

checking his side profile, i don't think rahman looks too bad. he's lost a little muscle mass (which again didn't really help him anyway) and he ain't slim, but it's possilble depending on his work that he's in descent shap at that weight (again possible). imo, it all depends on how mentally shot he is and how much preparation he's had with fighting nobody in a couple years. most likely, he's shot and it won't matter anyway and he'll collect his check and hopefully not leave a vegetable. would love to see a shocker tho

People forget that when he fought Tua at 259, he threw like 900 punches. Stamina won't be an issue here. He's down 30 pounds since his last fight over a year ago. HE CLEARLY trained.
