:rofl Rahman nowerdays better than Povetkin? Jisi, you must be joking. It´s ok to support the Rahman fight, but this is just ridiculous.....
Povetkin had to fight Wlad and now he is injured :?What injury does he had? No real information. I think he is not ready and pulls out. Sauerland and Povetkin wants to play games, but Wlad destroyed there games and K2 wins the purse bid. Povetkin did not want to fight Wlad. Rahman steps in and so he is the better fighter than Povetkin who had nothing proved as a professional boxer.
This is just based on what happened with Lennox Lewis, the same WON'T happen in this one because Wladimir comes 100% for every fight. Lewis was preoccupied with other stuff going into the Rahman fight and he got what he deserves for it. Wladimir knocks him out cold within 5 rounds.
Rahman has a chance, especially if Wlad underestimates him. However, the likely result is that Wlad will score an early KO or a dominant decision, depending on how many risks Wlad is willing to take.
Nothing? Hmm... Anyway, I'm not going to hold this against Wlad, it will be his 3rd fight this year against a 6 week substitute - it's not so bad. He could have just cancelled.
The bad thing is that when Rahman gets knocked out he usually gets knocked out badly. The Maskaev KO's and the Lewis KO are bad enough so a Wladimir right hand would just add further damage. Might be an early night but I say that Rahman's experience buys him at least 5 rounds before Wlad dusts him. If Wlad fights tentatively and respects Rock's power it might go 6 or 7 but no further cuz Steward will urge him to take him out. Unless Rahman lands something out of the blue and miraculously stops Wladimir they'll be bringing in a stool for Rahman to sit on in the ring while the doctor asks him if he's ok.
He's been calling out and wanting a Wlad fight since he turned pro. Why would he be scared now at this point?
