A fighter fights for money...........they will do until they have enough (almost never) or stop getting paid to fight. He is not that old, younger thann Briggs who is fighting Vitali. Rahman also was the last linear US HW champion KOing Lewis. Why hate on a man doing his job???

 

Rahman has stood up to HW bombs in his career, he doesn't have a glass jaw.....just a bad defense. Lewis in the first match was bombing him, Rahman catches him Twice and LL takes a 10 count. Stop hating.:smoke

Stood up to bombs?? ****, he gets knocked cold or right the hell out of the ring. People give Wlad Klit **** for his chin, but he's NEVER been starched as bad as Rahman has, several times.

But it ain't too far fetched for Rahman to fight a rematch with Evan Fields for the WBF title or go for some other nondescript belt like the IBC or some type of horse**** like that...

How is he being a gatekeeper when he's not fighting fringe contenders like Povetkin, Helenius, or Solis. Those guys need to fight the Barretts and Rahmans to see if there ready for the bigtime.

 

Rahman is a beast. This was a while back but I read somewhere that he talked about fighting MMA. Poor choice if he ever did, but he'd probably do better than that fat turd Toney.

 

If any powerful puncher threw a short uppercut followed by a straight when the MMA fighter goes for the legs, the fight is over, and the boxer wins by KO!

If his jaw was actually glass, he'd get knocked down every time he gets nailed clean by a decent puncher, like Amir Khan or Jhonny Gonzalez. Rahman has taken plenty of punishment without getting KOed before. Below average chin, sure, but not glass IMO.
