According to Polish news source Adamek is likely to face Rahman for his February date set at the Prudential Center in NJ.

Well, at least he's not trying to just brag a title shot out of the Klitschko's.

Rahman maybe should think about going ahead and retiring.

How the **** does people like Ruiz and Rahman get so many high profile fights?!

The heavies are in such a bad state. Go Haye, KTFO of these dinosaurs.

Meh. Another used up heavy for Adamek to look good against.

I don't mind him working his way up in stages, but I think he is gonna stagnate with this level of opposition.

:patsch. Adamek is scared of James Toney. Goossen said they offered him the fight but Adamek declined. Now, he takes on an easier oppoenent, à la Haye.

Don't know if this is true but I'd prefer the Toney fight too.

Sure he's fat and way over the hill but his skills and toughness are always dangerous, he would be a far better test for Adamek than Rahman.

Rahman? For Chrissakes, I had hopes on Tomasz doing something big at HW. NO WAY Haye'd just give him a shot without winning an eliminator and Rahman is shot as hell. Someone like Solis, Peter or Arreola would be nice.

Adamek will be protected at heavyweight. He's a cash cow. It'll be a while before he steps up, especially considering how he's proved to be a flawed fighter against live opponents, such as Cunningham.

It's a good move. Rahman is a beatable, name opponent who'll make Adamek look better than he is.

:patschToney won a gift decision against Fres Oquendo and your saying that he's going to beat Adamek?

Adamek would beat the buffet out of Toney...

Adamek beat Golota who has been shot to **** for years and you think he’s going to beat Toney.
    [/FONT] :patsch

Toney would take him to school and knock him out in later rounds
