He sounds more disinterested than anything else, which would be my main worry

Definitely sounds like he's about ready to put on a "lackluster" performance. He sounded like he was on that brown....don't know but he looked like he was struggling to stay awake.

Not to mention he looked SLOW hitting the mitts....not a good sign. I wish him well...Bmore baby!

Rahman has been done since Oleg KO'd his ass again in 06. That was his last chance, and he blew it. He'd made a lil resurgence, and rightfully shoulda gotten the decision against Toney. They gave him a belt and an opportunity, and he was lucky as hell VK went down with injuries. He had a chance to take over a stale HW division, and he couldn't even do that.

All that said, **** Povetkin. Can't wait til he gets dragged kickin n screamin into the ring to fight Wlad.

I don't know how Rahman managed his big paydays he got from the 90s and early to mid 2000s but if he's still fighting at his age just to pay his bills cause he blew his money, that's terrible. So many boxers seem to do that. It's really sad to see a once great fighter who I remembered as being so young, energetic, sharp, quick, still in the game in his 40s, now slow, slurs his speach a bit, over weight. Just a shell of themselves. Rahman sounded like he was due for a nap.

Anyway else notice the fact he's doing padwork in a southpaw stance ?
When the **** did Hasim or his camp think it was a good idea to suddenly become a southpaw ?

    You beat me to it.

Anyone is going to look like **** in an opposite stance unless they practice it regularly.

I wager Rahman is looking slow on purpose; maybe he's sand-bagging it.

the WBA should be ****ING EMBARRASSED . its one thing to get blown out ala Tyson vs Spinks, but Rahman was PATHETIC. Somehow he was "mandatory" without beating a top 10 opponent since 2005!!!! SHAMEFUL

I can't recall seeing a guy, just casually leaning on the rope like
Rahman right before that last left hook. WTF he looked like he
    was on a cigarette break.

    :-(

His knee was shot, if he let go of the rope he would have collapsed
