So......does this mean Haye is fighting Chagaev? I understand Boystov signed for Golden Boy today so perhaps Boystov will be the one who gets the Haye fight.
English mate, not british. I'd prefer to see haye vs a champ then haye vs a challenger. Maybe it's just me I dunno.
Beating Chagaev should legitimize his WBA paper belt to a degree, Chagaev being the WBA champion before Wlad beat him. What if he waits and can't make a deal with the Klitschkos? He'd be inactive for almost a year.
That's my first thought looking at the date. Whether that happens or not... Potentially: -Vitali defeats Solis in March -Haye and Vitali schedule for the original July 2nd fight date in a WBA/WBC unification -Mormeck and Rahman have their eliminator in May - winner gets the champion from the 7/2 match say late 2011
#1 - hepatitis #2 - broken hand #3 - management and trainers having arguments #4 - promoted by the Klitschkos #5 - Rahman #6 - recovering from back surgery #7 - has a bout scheduled with Kevin Sosnowski #8 - Mormeck
The key is the date imo. It gives haye longer to wait for vitali/solis. Due to the wba sanctioning the eliminator it means haye has to fight a bro or he'll end up wasting his career on a rematch with mormeck. But if he does get the fight with vitali/solis it adds impetus to a fight wlad.
