Rahman gives a bunch of interviews recently talking about a new focus, etc, and how he expects to be in the low 230's in July. Then he weighs in today at 260. So in his "comeback" since March he has lost exactly 4 lbs. Not that the "comeback" was gonna go to far, but c'mon rock stop blowing smoke before a fight

Yeah I am not happy bout that. He said 240's for this fight, well Rock, you're 15-20 pounds over that mark.

To be fair 260 isn't fat for him. He carries 245 like its nothing. But CLEARLY he needs to get lower.

  8. **** that ****, he's had hematomas that weigh more than 260.

Fair point, but i've seen a couple of his fights when he was over 250 and even facing c level guys like zuri lawrence and he looks plodding, sloppy, and not very explosive with his punches (tho he still throws a lot of lazy punches). yes he's big enough to carry 260 farily easily but he's basically an average fighter with that level of fitness. the other problem is why is he talking about 240s and even 230's in a month or so and then show up at 260? shows he's a straight bull shitter or still delusional about his dedication/fitness

Agreed. Although when he did his club fighter beatdown tour he started very high and in under a year he was down to his fighting weight. He wants a title shot early next year he said, so he's got time to drop weight.

Rahman Jr. told me that the scale was off. Says that he saw his dad in the low 250's on a different scale earlier this week.

    Per Hasim Jr.

"He did weigh in 260.. But there scale was definetly off.. With my own eyes I saw him weigh in the low 50s this week.. "

It's not IMPOSSIBLE for a scale to be off 5-6 pounds. I've had it happen before.

Fair enough. I wiill say the rock looks fairly fit in the one weigh in pic on another site tho he's got a tight fitting t shirt on. if he looks sharper in the fight then he has in some time, then maybe he is somewhat serious

I hope that's the case. I'm disappointed in the 260 report.
