i didnt think the first fight was ugly. about 1600 punches tossed in total between the 2 well we will see. couldnt be any worse than this
I think it all depends on Toney. If he shows up like he did against Batchelder, Rahman may win by KO; and, that would be entertaining If he shows up in great shape, he will win decision in what will most likely be a very active fight. Any where in between, and we have two fat has beens slapping and leaning on each other for 12 rounds.
I think it'll definitely be a busy fight, Rahman will be in the same kind of shape as in their first fight while Toney should be in better shape...and they threw 1556 punches between them in that fight, one of the highest totals for a 12-round heavyweight fight ever. Of course, there's no definite it'll go the full 12 (although it seems the most likely outcome), but I think it will have plenty of blows exchanged along the way.
They threw a lot of punches in the first fight, but I wouldn't call that pitter-pat-**** anymore entertaining than an average heavyweight fight that goes to decision.
if Rahman stays behind that jab it wont be a great fight it will be about the same as last nights fight. Toney is done so is the Rock but he IMO is fresher than Toney, I wouldnt say this is a pick em fight either Toney is just too damn lazy and too damn old now to make this a close fight.
Toney will need to turn the clock back to the Peter I fight, because his last two outings weren't encouraging at all...sure he was heavy for Peter II, but he was 229 for Batchelder and still didn't look all that good.
they were actually broadcasting this fight for "the world heavyweight championship" on the comerical the other day "two of the best fighters in the world " "fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world" lmao
a lot of people are dogging rahman again. its funny they did it before his first fight with toney as well. we all saw who should have gotten the decision the first time. if you took 100 fans and had them score the fight i bet a large % would have given to to rahman.
