Liston naturally bigger Rahman was likely juicing

Rahman incline benched 450 pounds about a week ago. GTFOH.

Not technically incompatible with the second part of the statement. Rahman's not being tested anymore. Assuming he ever was.

I do think Liston would be Rahman-sized if he fought today. But he wasn't Rahman-sized as-is. People don't get points for muscle mass they don't have.

I neither agree with the statement Rahman was likely juicing, nor does moving such huge weight for the excercise show he was or is natural.
The muscular size Rahman reached was within the range of what someone with a large structure might achieve.
I heard he was a powerlifter who moved much weight.
It is unusual to *ever* be able to incline press 450 lbs., but just like some juice & never get very big, he could have juiced & never been detected.
Please share the info/links about his recent lifting please.

If one does so for a while & effectively-which could have been after retirement exclusively or also-this can make permanent changes in the potential & architecture of the muscles.
Things like recruiting extra nucleii in muscle cells, so even when clean potential is expanded beyond if one never used.

Bottom line while there is no evidence-like unnaturally rapid muscle growth when already strong- suggetsting Rahman likely dosed...
There is certainly no cause to believe lifting so much in his relative dotage shows he is lifetime clean either!

CT - your post was neutral/well intended. Designed for reflection.

As first respondent, I would've merely and courteously replied "I hear you" or "no worries" and "appreciated".

However, given Entaowed's gratuitously extended, self serving response to you, I will now make these due observations.

Despite having the last "many" words as at that time (which he clearly covets and pursues), Entaowed still hijacked your neutral platform to repeat himself on the matter in reply to you, securing back to back "last words" so to speak. LOL.

I cut the guy off previously. Wisely and equitably. Did not speak to or ref. him - the proof in the pudding. That was the End Game. .

However, of his own accord, he has "reactivated" several times since, including on this thread, initializing and perpetuating neg. comments to and re myself. He randomly interjected on another, previous thread, falsely "believing" that I had somehow covertly referenced him.

He repeatedly invokes his “imaginary” support group – I HAD to tell him previously that no one is reading this. And still, no one is. No illusions there. LOL.

He is def. well off kilter and fatally attracted, - a disturbing obsession further exacerbated by previous rejection.... what's his End Game ?

All I can say is.......lock up your bunnies!! LOL.

Same, circular conduct/content as previously/correctly described.

Moralizing via "pedantic recitation"? And, you practice "moralization" as no one else here does, especially not in all duality as you do. Self incrimination.

So, TRULY agitated/mentally addled ONE, pitifully persisting in failed attempts to trigger but keep shooting yourself in the foot instead.

I detailed my conditions for reply. Sound. Keyword: REPLY.

You initiated and self perpetuated. The thin "good will" veneer, a false pretense to to throw "yourself" back into expired, prior disagreements - which you immediately did. Your "luggage" obsessively held/carried over. You know this. You aren't honest.

Ignoring an obvious correlate for OCD: your maintained, impossible posting length and repetition therein - is either seriously lacking in intellect/being grossly disingenuous. A reply to your OCD rants (at much less the feverish length) is, of course, not a sign of OCD.

Your last post: back to back last words (many) - but that isn't your objective??. LOL.

Excessive volume: to accommodate repetition of false, already refuted claims, your own self promotion and wildly false/hypocritical moralizing tangents.

"Mirroring": adoption of "saving face" / "paranoia" to name just two recent examples (of the many).

Citing fatal attraction isn't conceited. Exercise some intellect. Being the target of a fatal attraction is not desirable. Nor would any "normal" person interpret the perverse/abnormal nature of such an attraction as a feed into their pride/vanity.

I agree. Liston, if inclined to the same “size me up” methods, would be Rahman sized today.

In pure natural terms, Liston was a bit bigger IMO, as I previously posted.

No question, comparing them as they actually were, Rahman has to be given the nod as being bigger, by sheer extra weight alone and some extra muscle.

It’s natural to examine/qualify the whys and wherefores as to how an equal or slightly less naturally sized Rahman has that size advantage. On Rahman’s record, there appears to be some extreme weight fluctuations from one fight to another – possible indicator of juicing?

At 224 lb vs Holyfield’s 216 lb I don’t recall Rahman looking so much bigger - though some might say Liston wouldn’t either. Rahman’s next fight vs Tua (about 9 months later), he weighed a whopping 259 lb.

How does this disprove anything? Imo a 49 year old inclining 450 is impossible without assistance in all but the world's top .01% of the most genetically gifted people

I'm not saying he isn't in that percentile. The average guy in the hood doesn't just randomly become an enforcer for drug pushers.

He's a big guy but inclining 450 at 49 is virtually impossible without gear. I don't really care either way, virtually everyone is doing something. Liston definitely was not, so comparing them in this way is pointless. Being an enforcer for drug pushers means absolutely nothing as you probably know drug dealers and criminals just need to be large and willing to shoot people to be taken seriously

We’ll have to agree to disagree. But if you’re comfortable calling a measurably smaller and weaker man larger than another because he was born first, so be it.

Cuts both ways, doesn't it? On one hand, there's a selection effect going on with guys who are picked by drug gangs and heavyweight boxing promoters. On the other hand, if you're willing to act as an enforcer for a drug gang, you're probably not averse to using controlled substances to improve your performance, either.

Pro sports and in particular heavyweight boxing in the early 2000s were completely overrun with ped abuse that didn't exist in Liston's era. Liston could have easily weighed 230+ of solid muscle with the same kind of help. Just my opinion
