Rahman is scheduled to fight in Virginia 7/24. The plan from there is an October showdown with Tua. A win over Tua would most likely get Rahman the title shot he is looking for.

Go Rahman. He better show up around 245 or so. None of this 250 ****.

Also I was watching some of his fights I purchased. He fights down to his level of competition. Example. He fought Al Cole, Mario Cawley, and Rob Calloway. In each fight he didn't look like he had much of a gameplan except to just bomb them out. He looked sloppy and not overly coordinated.

He then fights Kali Meehan and is moving, popping combos, and using his jab. Looked like a monster in that fight. The key element in that fight. He was 232 pounds.

I think Rahman can beat Tua. He did it in 2003 at 259 pounds. He can do it now as long as he comes in the low 240's.

Well Rahman has won most of the rounds in their fights the first fight was a near shut out til he got caught

in the second fight he won the first 4 ran out of gas took a 4 round breather losing all 4 even after 8 he swept the last 4

Tua has recently emerged KOing a bum and decisioned Friday A and is ranked well in the WBO and if he keeps winning will earn a shot

Rahman has been out of the picture for a long time now since the embarrassment vs Wlad and Toney in the rematch

he is fat and out of shape

Tua has been getting in shape again

Even if Rahman is the better boxer he will tire and be too slow

A in shape focused Hasim wins on points barring there is no big from behind Tua KO

Sorry dude I have to agree with the rest Rahman is shot. I will stand with you and agree that Rahman looked like a monster in that Meehan fight. As a matter of fact I think that was the best he ever looked (including the first LL fight). I half jokingly made a point saying that if I were training Rahman for the Klitschko Fight it would consist of road work , sparring & countless hours watching the tape of the Meehan fight over & over again. It would've been like karate kid. (take jacket off, hang it up, Put it on). I would've been like (jackie chan voice) put tape on, rewind tape. put tape on.

I don't think Rahman is shot. I think motivation for club fighter opponents is low. He looked the same way when he was fighting club fighters in 2004/2005.

I will reserve judgment when he fights a guy like Tua. Someone who will test him more.

Tua couldn't beat Rahman on a bad night. He weighed 259! Rahman still busted his ass all night.

7 years later you think Tua will KO him. Haha.

Rahman will stick that jab in his face all night.

Also the fight will take place in New Zealand. Seems to me the Rahman team wants the fight bad if they are willing to go into his backyard.

We'll see who has more left, I believe Tua has more left. If Tua doesn't KO him in 4 rounds then I'll lean towards a Rahman victory.

Tua ain't getting any younger. Yes he's done nicely on his bum of the month club but I think if Rahman can pump the jab and toss around 700-900 punches. Win is his.

He tossed like 700 punches at him in that rematch...out of shape. Rahman throws a lot of shots for a heavyweight. Check his past Compubox numbers.

    Rahman UD12. 8-4

Rahman needs a good opponent to get motivated? Hm, how about . . . . . . Wladimir Klitschko for three world titles? Yesterday's news, as is Tua.

Wlad was A better and B Rahman said he took the fight short notice and had some injuries that required surgery and rehab after. Not saying it made a difference but I think that's why he looked worse than anyone expected.
