I think Corrie Sanders Left hand was more effective then Rahman's Right hand, not heavier just more shocking. That left hand Stunned Vit but he was in no way close to going down. I nomally agree with alot of your post (especially the Floyd hate ones) but this one I can not agree that Vit retired because of Rahman's right hand, NA!
Rahman is one of the heavier hitting heavyweights in recent years. That right hand of his is dangerous.
He hit Lewis with that flush right several times and hurt him with it about 30 seconds earlier in that round which probably is what led him to fool around on the ropes open to the final one. It was a perfect punch, Lewis was unbalanced, he bounced off the ropes stright into it with his feet not underneath the weight of his body to absorb it, his legs tangled with the incoming Rahmans legs after the punch which made his fall even harder onto his back by lifting hi sfeet off the ground from the trip. Rahman ran in with the punch and as Lewis bounced towards it, Rahman punched through the target and Lewis was caught on the beginning of the punch rather than on the end of it. It was a devastating connection on the side of the chin which wasnt tucked in. Dr Goodman of Las Vegas commission said it was the type of shot that causes the most dangerous effect on the brain and causes a stroke like effect shutting off the blood vessells by twisting the head around.
True. Did you see Maskaev Vs. Rahman? Maskaev's chin help up extremely well, but he knocked Rahman out of the ring and out. Still, Rahman can punch very hard. Yes, I think Rahman had trouble with drugs, did not help him at all.
well, Lewis did kind of invite it. He was sort of mocking Rahman at the time, Rahman saw an opening, Lewis kind of has this look on his face for a split second that says "oh, damn, that was a mistake" and then he is knocked on his ass. you could argue that a lot of other fighters wouldn't have invited it.
Wonder how Vitali would have fared if it had happened and he'd landed that right... Vitali does have a good chin too... I like wondering about things like this.
Problems with drugs?atsch That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. Rock has never done drank, smoked, or done drugs. IDIOT. Calling a person is a drug user is a pretty shitty thing to do. How the hel would you even make that assumption?
