The hell with that loser Stacy, all us real boxing fans know Delray did the best he could and deserves credit for stepping in the ring with these top guys, knowing he was overmatched.

And nice to hear you told him to hang 'em up. To me, that's the right decision from what I can see. It is too bad, as I have said, that there is not a way financially for a guy like Delray to compete in NABF/USBA level fights, and win those kinds of titles while making a decent living.

dam did delray get his nose broke? i tried to stay up but i couldn't make it to 11:00 after watching a pathetic Knicks effort and some FNF. Sounds like you guys made some decent cash. If i were to give personal advice to Delray I would tell him to find a job with regular hours like 9-6 maybe for $9 an hour? or is that just not possible where you live? Honestly i think both you guys should move out of Arkansas or do you really like it there. And with a job Delray should KEEP TRAINING AND STAY IN SHAPE EAT CLEAN and maybe take some tomato can fights or take a shot at gary shaws new hot prospect in 2014

i'm sure it's possible but like everything else, you gotta handle your money the right way....look at peter manfredo for ****s sake.....easily has made over a million in his career, yet he is now 6 months late on his mortgage, and is working a regular job.....that's ****ed up ****, but how can you feel towards fighters that have gotten huge opportunities like that, but just fail miserably at "life" itself and "investments".......

the truth is, boxing pays very ****en good....delray made 12500 for his fight, and at this stage of his career that's pretty damn good....of course i'm speaking if in fact he had a regular job, and just boxed as a hobby (cause really, that's just what it is at this point).....fighters need to understand that investing your money right is the best thing to do in the sport of boxing.....toooo many examples out there to not get the hint.....rocky lockridge is homeless for ****s sake

Some of the hate that Raines is getting here from keyboard warriors is really pathetic. It takes huge balls to go in there against Lara and knowing that you're gonna get KO'd sooner or later.

He also landed a very nice left hook to the liver right before he got KO'd. He shouldn't step in the ring against prospects/contenders, but he deserves some damn respect for facing those prospects.

True, Hearns most definitely is not. Lemieux and Lara are two very different boxers, one is an offensive beast, the other one is a counterpunching freak (LARA).

Lara has a vast amateur record, he has some serious skills, whereas Lemieux is just a destroyer. I'd pick Lara to utterly destroy Lemieux.

I'll ask you again after Lemieux-Rubio. And probably again after Lemieux goes home with the WBC belt which will happen by the end of the year. You don't think Lara is immune to losing handspeed by going up 6-7 lbs, do you? Lemieux weighs just under 163 on fight night, and transfers hell in his punches. Lemieux overwhelms Lara, corners him and connects one left hook to the temple. From then on, Lara loses his legs and is like a deer walking in a redneck's backyard.

Lara isn't the only guy who can counterpunch, you know. :yep

Just compare their footwork, their balance, they accuracy. And you'd come to my conclusion just based off of looking at them box. However, Lemieux may have some intangibles that can make him win. However, stylistically it all points to Lara destroying him. And thats just my opinion, I like Lemieux.
