    Fun, flawed fighter at 122lbs.

Just notched possibly a career best victory to date on ProBoxTV with a KO9 via left hook on the liver against Jesús Eduardo Ramírez Rubio. Surprisingly just his 14th stoppage in 25 bouts. His style is that of a pure KO artist.

Been in the game for nine years but glacial progress stepping up in class. Lone defeat came in 2017 against Daniel Flores Cárdenas (no relation) in his first ten-rounder while still very green and never having been past six.

On his IG page he alternately goes by the nickname "Jawbreaker" and "Dinamita". The former developed very recently when he in fact shattered an opponent's mandible when he stopped Israel Rodríguez Picazo his last time out this past February.

Again, not sure how far he can really go with some of the defensive holes in his game and mediocre foot and handspeed (only so much you can make up for that with heavy-handed pressure and timing) - but he makes the Watch List for sheer entertainment.

San Antonio has a heck of a boxing reputation to live up to.

Bam Rodríguez, Mario Barrios, Jesse James Leija, Tony Jr. & Mike Ayala, Raúl Martínez, Robert Quiroga... it'd be a hell of a mountain to climb even making the city's top 5 p4p all-time. Not sure he'll even crack top 15 tbh, but could become a scrappy pride & joy type nonetheless.

I wasn't sold on him with his shock win over Pedroza, I thought it was a flukish lucky punch, but the way he decided to turn it on and go for the kill against Israel Rodríguez Picazo, he won me over completely. I went back and watched his performance against Ramírez, and it wasn't all that dissimilar. He seems to be a little too mood based for his own good. If something isn't going his way, he isn't feeling it, and performs in a half hearted manner, until he sees something and his entire demeanor changes, and he turns into a fearless psychopathic killer, looking to bring the pain. While awesome to build suspense and entertain, keeping the audience sucked in waiting for him to turn it on. Unfortunately when in with someone a little too elusive for him, I think he's the type of fighter that could stay in that shell until it's too late. Regardless, damned fun little fighter at his level.
