Just noticed the camera operators and miscellaneous ring crew all garbed in varying states of PPE, but each thankfully at least has a mask.

There's a ten-yard buffer separating the "front row" from ringside. Alright then, maybe not the most irresponsible thing I've seen...

 

Gutiérrez in control and seems a decent prospect - surprising that he already has three losses in thirteen bouts (one to none other than his present opponent! He dropped a SD against Tercero fifteen months ago...)

 

Chocolatito sitting, in total isolation, on a chair "ringside" (in the interstitial space between the ring and the audience, about 15' away from both), rocking an M95. He gives a wan (seated) fist pump and gets a big pop from the commentators and the Facebook comments section.

 

Gutiérrez rocked Tercero with some counter uppercuts in the fifth, and then spent the rest of the frame continuing to calmly play matador with step-away body jabs after realizing that his moment had passed and he probably wasn't taking out Tercero all that easily.

 

Gutiérrez went down in the sixth, although it might have been more to do with fatigue than with Tercero's overhand.

You didn't misread that. It really is, crazily, the seventh meeting between these combatants (rather than one being named 'Byron Javier Castellón the seventh" )

Castellón has never defeated Gazo. One draw, a NC, two losses by MD and two by UD. All four, six, or eight-rounders.
