Yeah, seems to be shoring up his strength for body combos and baking on the accumulation KO. Not sure he's going to get it with this work rate..

    Round 1 Gazo 10-9
    Round 2 Castellón 10-9
    Round 3 Castellón 10-9
    Round 4 Castellón 10-9
    Round 5 Castellón 10-9

Byron quicker and sharper, he's been making Gazo miss for the last few rounds consistently and making him pay at times in combination. Although Gazo amped up the pressure and landed a few eye catching overhands in the fifth.

Canvas appears to be very slick, multiple slip-falls now. Did they have ladies' oil wrestling as the warm-up act?

Castellón finally on the scoreboard now, barring a robbery or last half-minute one-punch napper...

    Round 1 Gazo 10-9
    Round 2 Castellón 10-9
    Round 3 Castellón 10-9
    Round 4 Castellón 10-9
    Round 5 Castellón 10-9
    Round 6 Castellón 10-9, close

Gazo might have COVID-19, he's pretty damn sluggish. He's plodding forward like his feet are in cement, meanwhile Byron is flitting around the ring like a firefly, outworking him with combos to the head every time Gazo gets in range. Although a few loping hooks from Gazo got though, including one when Byron was pulling back with his hands down and a flurry late.

    59-55 Castellón

Castellon looks to have finally won a fight in this series, based on what I saw. A bit too mobile and quick for Gazo.

No time wasted pulling those scorecards together. Barely even 1 minute.

    Official cards:

no individual scores given...but Castellón gets it on points!

The most satisfying triumph of his career - although if he really wants to end up "in the black" versus Gazo, they would need to extend their rivalry into double-digits (past installment "X")

Gabriel Escalante coming out to what sounds like an 80's action film version of Beauty & The Beast, in Spanish. At least at the start.

Don't worry - this should be over in the blink of an eye, just a quick appetizer for the main event. Mairena has a record of 2-19-1 and has been stopped in fifteen of those - eight in the 1st round!

Escalante is 12-0 (6) at present - so he could end up being a feather-fist, or a big puncher who's just been matched tough in his early prospect days, or could stay the course of mediocrity...remains to be seen. Either way, you'd expect him to blast out a ready-made tomato can like Mairena without much difficulty.

Mairena is coming out to what sounds like a remix of Romeo Void's Never Say Never.:sisi1

Techno/musique concrète remix of 7 Nation Army? :dunno

Alright, original spin on an otherwise clichéd ring walk choice, I'll hand it to 'em..
