Heavy jabs on the mush from Cárdenas. Listening to his coach, not going more than a second or two without feeling leather touch flesh. Ramírez bullied into the ropes and baited into an exchange of straigh rights. Cárdenas gets the best of it. Nice combination: double jab into the guard and uppercut zipping along the center lane between the gloves, bringing the arms up and clearing a path for a vicious liver hook by Cárdenas, and Ramírez goes to a knee. He rides the count.

    KO9!

Cardenas has good punch selection and fluidity, with a little more experience he can definitely be a threat at the top level once Inoue moves up.
Him vs Akhmadaliev would be a great fight to make next.

He's got skills but I don't think he's ready for MJ.

I'd slightly favor Akhmadaliev as well but Cardenas has the movement and variety to give him trouble, he'll just have to push the pace more and be more aggressive.

He's pretty good fundamentally, but MJ is better and with more power. It would be an interesting fight for a few rounds but I don't think he's ready for that yet.
