Hello again , here i am with another thread about propescts from my homecountry. A while ago i posted a thread about agustin Gautto, the top prospect,https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/agustin-gauto-the-best-prospect-in-argentina.660142/ . Today ill write about Monzon Lovera, the best prospect at middleweight. Like his nickname indicates, Lovera is a boxer-puncher with a killer straight and good size who tends to box behind the jab and lure his opponents into traps while on the offensive. his record is badly lacking currently with his best opponent to date coming in the form of Juan Rizo Patron, a "Super Middle" who competed in the wbss with poor results who has a leaky defense and is severely undersized for even the middleweight division. Lovera quickly figured him out and bait him, while laying in the ropes, into a straight that ktfo. His second best win is nothing to write home about either , coming against regional journeyman Caraballo, once a fellow prospect who has long turned into a survivor and propect tester.Lovera easily blow him away.

Tonight he is coming back after a 15 month forced layoff due to covid restrictions against hernan Perez, a no-mark club fighter who caused him some troubles in a messy fight two years ago in which lovera squeak by with an undeserved MD. with his improvements he should easily ko perez quickly now, any other result will be a dissapointment. after this fight lovera should be fighting the other top domestic names like coceres or coria or one of the world class journeymen that spring the occasional upset like mateo veron or billy godoy, any national fight at a lower level would be a waste of time.

well, scratch that about lovera being a top 5 prospect. he just dropped a UD against Perez while looking like utter ****, no movement at all, winded after 4 rounds, forgot about the jab after two rounds and spent the rest of the fight looking for the one punch ko with big telegraphed shots, compeltely negated his size advantage against a much smaller opponent making him look like willie pep in the process. i hope lovera recovers and comes back looking better after tonight to put his career back on track because he really looked back tonight against an area level fighter. will upload the fight as soon as its available.
