I worry about this from Rashad as he might look to do what GSP and Koscheck do. That is what he was sort of trying to do with Silva! Rampage likes to bang. One of the few fights not scared to stand in range and trade leather.
Rampage is a much better wrestler then Silva, not jits, but wrestling and he's also a better striker. Rashad will have a hard time controlling him on the ground
He hung with Henderson though. But I see your point, Rashad may be gearing his training towards that and have an edge
I was thinking about the Hendo fight. Hendo seems poor from the bottom so Quinton had that under control. However Quinton on the bottom was quite impressive with some of his escapes. However he said after the fight that he didn't really wrestle much but worked alot of jits. Like you say, I'm worried that his training isn't geared to the right gameplan. Rashad's been talking large but he comes from a strategic camp. Evans said he'd give Rampage a free shot, I highly doubt that. Evans mentally must be thinking his chin isn't what he had hoped. Especially after the Silva and Machida fight where he has done the Harlem shake twice. If Rampage fights to his full potential then we are talking about a man who has the beating of Chuck Liddell, Wanderlei Silva and Dan Henderson. We are talking about legends. I'm hyped.
