What the hell are you talking about? Dozens of guys have felony convictons. You think promoters give a ****? Boxing wouldn't even exist if this was the case. All he caused was property damage, he will plead and lose his liscense and get probation.
He needs (or someone) to pay $25.000 to get him out of prison uh ?...So his case ain't hopeless...But once he gets out , his career will never be the same. Thing is , he still has a contract (though they could get rid of him like they did for babalu)...but he's also one of the stars of ufc's upcoming PS3/360 game...It's a hard decision to take...
Im almost 100% sure that Rampage's contract has a clause about felony. And when you're that big of a star and now a star of "Best police chases" I doubt they will give you a contract over here. Those dozens of felons you're talking about, even though I heard of 2 or 3(dont even remember their names), have been convicted YEARS before the contracts and since that time they've been squicky clean. There's a big difference between being convicted then years later signing a contract and signing contract then commiting a felony under that contract. If that's not enough for "what the hell I'm talking about" then consider the fact that Dana White keeps saying how hard he tries to get away from that image of "bar brawling hooligans." The chances of him EVER signing Rampage again are non-existant.
he could still possibly get a couple of years depending upon how zealous the da wants to be (and how much money is in the "paper bag"). if not, rampage will get paid somewhere for sure.
why does he drive a truck with a picture of him plastered on the side of the vehicle? that seems a little odd to me...
