If he was a legitimate actor with a future then by all means yes; does anybody truely believe that? I mean yea he has great charm and presence, but acting is actually hard work, it is probably the one occupation with more failures than fighting.

He's going from a stable job making him millions to a completely unstable job making him an unknown amount for an unknown amount of time.

I wish him well, but maybe taking his money and going to college and getting a degree, investing in a promising business, doing something with a stable future are much better ideas.

He seems a bit paranoid, and given his police chase fiasco, I'm honestly concerned about his mental well being.

This just strikes me as Bowe joinging the Marines, Jordan playing baseball, Ricky Williams becoming a vegetarian yoga pothead. It just seems like a rash decision with no upside.

hes still young enough to make money. Whats he going to do later?

All his fights are hard these days. He sees guys he fought hard with like VS and Liddell struggle and lose.

He witnessed a guy he lost too, Griffen, get murdered by a far superior fighter..

hes pussing out while he can IMO

What is so hard to understand? Why is he supposed to care wtf you think? Why is he supposed care what anyone thinks? Am I an actor? No, but would I try it, if I was offered an opportunity like that? Hell yes. He can go back to fighting at any point. He knows how to do that, but a role which means something special to him will only roll around once in his ****ing lifetime. If you think that him giving up on a such dream which is withing his grasp is a good idea, than I feel sorry about the way YOU lead your life.

More power to him for doing this. I hope he enjoys the experience which Im sure he will, and by the looks of it he could make a great actor because he has the personality for it. I see why he was cussing at some "fans" lol. I think he went too light about it.

People can say what they like about him, fighting is a tough ****ing job and if he wants a break from it then he deserves it! Besides, I'm pretty sure we'll see him back in the octagon at some point!

He never really lost to Forrest. Took him lightly, looked like **** and deserved a close decision. All the while, Forrest, this once hard working happy go lucky guy turned into arrogant ******* is painted as a hero, then gets starched his first defense.

I don't blame Rampage one bit. Never felt he lost the belt in the first place.

I agree with ufoalf. Rampage seems to have worked hard for the UFC, he just wanted some respect and assistance. He didn't get it and feels stabbed in the back. He is taking a break, even if he calls it a retirement.
