its alittle too much to write up, i dont do the same conditioning routine all the time, i'll start another thread on it tommorow.
i would have averaged around 40 mins, but i am quite a big fella, not built for running. your time is exceptional:deal
Thats a good time man.. my pb? No idea for 5mi.. but for 5k (a little over 3mi) it was a good time, but about where it should have been for the effort.. we'll say it was closer to 16mins then 17. Some tips for you eager runners out there who want to purely improve running times - *Run hill sprints once a week.. really, really good for leg strength and imrpoves running efficiency *Run intervals once a week.. improves speed endurance so in theory we can run faster for longer *Mentally push your pace.. dont settle into a rhythm even though its really comfortable, actually get a mindset to push the pace *Dont run more then 4 times a week *Dont run time-trials more then once a week *Dont do long slow runs.. as a man much wiser then me put it "Long, slow runs produce long, slow runners" *Keep your feet low to the ground, almost skimming the surface, and swing your arms NOT your shoulders.
relentless=godly runner the best i ever did in 31mins was 3miles.. =( i want the secret to your running as well =P
my PB for 5 miles which is 8km is a little bit under 26 mins when i was running a bit competitively I can still pump out a 27:30 time for this distance nowadays when i only run for my boxing anything sub 32 mins for this distance is fairly respectable
Relentless what gym do you box out of? I moving to london in september I need to find a decent club. I've looked at fitzroy lodge seems alright..
