Sam, you should look into Rafal Jackiewicz. He's a decent fighter and a good story; kind of a European Cinderella Man - coming on with a string of great upset wins late in a journeyman career (truest sense of the term journeyman - mostly fighting at home in Poland but doing a good amount of globetrotting as well). Think Carlos Baldomir but a bit more versatile in the ring. Most recently he ground out a decision over once-hyped Delvin Rodriguez, planting his flag in the middle of the ring and bravely asserting dominion over this turf with a pesky jab and refusal to budge more than a few inches at a time. Zaveck is a carefully aggressive fighter (and earlier in his late-bloomer career was carefully matched), who got his cherry popped by the teak-tough Pole but recently snared a good win by outpunching Isaac Hlatshwayo. He's one of these guys who usually manages to hit more than he gets hit, with 75% of his defense being his offense itself and the other 25% being a quick spring off his toes to leap straight back, which he won't get away with against a good elite ring cutter. Zaveck-Cotto would be FOTY-level action with their respective styles. I'd favor either to decision Bailey...but as has been stated, only a true elite is a guarantee to not become a KO victim even at 147. Neither is quite a true elite.
No doubt, it's a good win for sure - but it doesn't change who and what Randall is. He's the same old KO King. Give him a target and you give him a win. Give him angles, movement, counterpunching (or just have an amazing chin or impregnable defense coming forward) and take one from him.
