    But not the same skill.
He landed two clean right hands on mike jones, one dropped him heavy and the other sparked him - broke his nose.

When this guy hits you, he disconnects you from your senses. when he hits you with a straight right, you dont just go down, he sends you flying and your out before you hit the floor.
Probably the most devastating hitter in the division.
he's the type of fighter who you wonder where they get the power from? he's very rangy so i do feel for some future challengers.

Its funny how hatton and bunce were on about how brook and khan should be in a hurry to fight this guy, the same guys who were talking about bradleys physique like it counts!
both khan and brook dont have the best defense.

Can you guys see brook or khan taking them punches?
Brook has the better chance of winning as his defense is slightly better and he has some power himself.

Barkley took Hearns'. Urango was built like a tank and one of the most durable of his era.

Bailey took Urango's heart IMO. Never the same after that shot.

This is true, look what happened to Urango after that against Alexander.

Both Brook and Khan would win every round vs Bailey but if he lands it would be interesting to see if they could take it.

i like bailey. always dangerous. his timing is impecable for a guy who throws so little.
it was a boring fight in terms of numbers last night. but ive watched him enough times to know that he was still increidbly dangerous.
he can always put guys away. against urango you got this sense that after that pawing jab is gonna be a right hand that urango aint going to see. he just doesnt want to send off signals that he can land.

but...hearns could box. had considerable length had a fantastic left hook and his left hook to the body is a brilliant shot. could throw combos and could do some work on the inside if push comes to shove.

    so ....naaaaah.

    but dangerous dangerous for anybody.

If Jones hadnt been so terrified throughout and stepped up his workrate without getting sloppy he might've been able to beat Bailey up enough to stop him trying or being able to throw the two decent punches he threw.

A fight with two losers, the HBO commentary team were saying it was an embarrassment that it was for a title.

i think khan could get sparked. mainly because the blinding jab only really works if you are agaisnt a guy with a high guard. brooks wouldnt put too much weight ont he front foot. and low hands allows you to slip a bit quicker

it's the weakness of the high guard that you blind yourself from other directions. in a sense it's

i think both could get round him with maybe khan outworking and moving continously. but brooks lower workrate and more 1 or 2 shots wont keep bailey covered enough. so the rounds might be tighter and possibly a bit of a bore fest. but khan could get crushed. this doesnt have anything to do with glass jaws when it only takes 1 shot to get rid of anybody with RB.

Bailey has definitely that special kind of power that can turn your lights out with one shot. Look at the way Jones went down, it was like he got shot. Not many people can do that. Of course Bailey is nowhere as good as Hearns was, but if you'd let both guys hit at a machine @147 the result would be very similar.

I'm pretty sure there is still part of something unconscious in Urango's head after that shot.

He has got that rare, one punch out of nowhere can end it kind of power, I'd agree with you there. It's even more rare when you go down into the lower weight classes. Thinking about it I can't think of too many pure KO punchers currently going, even guys with good knockout percentages like Froch tend to wear their opponent down, you can see the stoppage on the cards before it happens. Wlad does have that one shot capability but is very reluctant to show it.
