Hmm, well let's see that's a tough one. Paredes is a real hot and cold fighter, while Pitalua has wicked power in both hands. I think for 12 rounds I would may'be lean towards Pitalua, I think Pitalua will may'be eventually get to him. It'll be a tough fight I haven't really broken down the fight and am just going off my first gut reaction. So, you know, may'be whoever is the underdog may'be put a little bit on them.
As always, i really appreciate it man. Great job on the Bailey prediction, regardless of the BS "decision." Bailey clearly had Ouali in huge trouble from the beginning and was on the way to a win.
I'd be surprised if Pitalua's power carries all that well up to 147. While he has a great KO%, the best fighter he's knocked out was Jose Armando Santa Cruz, and we all saw what Zab Judah did to him. Plus, Pitalua just isn't much of a boxer. He's a puncher, sure, but he can be outboxed pretty easily. The wild card for me is Paredes's chin - if it holds up, I think he wins, but I see he's been knocked out by a journeyman once before, so who knows.
It exists, he just sucks at promoting anything other than his own fights. He has a few other guys - Cornelius Lock, Wes Ferguson, etc...
That explains why Mayweather was rooting so hard for Ouali during his ring entrance, and was so concerned when he was hurt :good
