That looks like an awesome card. Is DREAM the new PRIDE? Monsons going to get smashed!!

seems like it...If DREAM can keep up with the "quality" cards..then , eventually...maybe in a year or two from now , this org could end up being # 1 like pride used to be...but again nothing's certain yet...

I really like this card, Monson vs Barnett could be great if its a grappling oriented fight, but I'm worried because they trained together quite a bit and it could end up being something close to a work, or it could end up being a bad striking match.

Yuki Konda vs Gracie is interesting, good test for Roger.

Good to see Randleman back in any form

Jorge Santiago is a promising fighter

And I really am a fan of Mike Pyle.

As for being the new PRIDE, I don't know if that can happen anytime soon because the appitite for MMA in Japan is not what it once was. I think I actually like WVR as an organization much better than DREAMS, which is run by a corrupt company in K1 and already appears to be falling into to many bad habits of the Japanese promotions.

I watched bits of Dream #1 and #2 over the weekend on MMA-TV (on TVU Player for anyone interested) and their presentation is similar to Pride in that they try to put on a big production and use the same ring announcers. I don't think their stage show is quite as extravagant as some of the Pride card's shows - but it is entertaining nontheless.
