it's not just a case of taking a punch, most fighters can... unless of course it's an 'on the button' punch like Hearns caught him with, damn near all fighters surcum to shots like that. it's the tiring, wearing, rough & tumble, both at pace or in a marauding stinker, it's still wearing against a Bigger Strongerman, Durun could get lucky and surprise, of course, it's Top Level Boxing, but he's not a slick boxers who's going to point up his win in & out of trouble. So again, Duran's the overall better fighter here, but Turpins just too Big Strong and a Rangy Box/Fighter. I'm not a Turpin fan persay, but the Bigger man wins.
Accumulated shots from Turpin may do a lot more damage than people realize. Randy was a strong guy in there.
I would and a lot more skilled. Can you imagine Barkley lasting 15 rounds with Ray and actually beating him in the process? Not a cat in hells imo.
