Randolph Turpin vs. Canelo Alvarez

Canelo`s tight guard would be too much for Turpin and he`d be getting caught by sharp counters, Canelo wins this.

My money is on Turpin. I do not think much of Canelo

 

On most of these posts i tend to go for the fighter from the past.Its an age thing ,therefore its Turpin on points

 

If we’re assuming in his prime I’d fancy Turpin here.
He was a big middleweight and extremely strong. He had an unusual upright style but his fundamentals were sound, he had a good defence and he was hard hitting.
I think this would be a fight too far for Canelo.

 

Turpin s strength and akward style, have him getting a split decision win.

 

You know what happens when Cinnemons fights go to the Judges.

 

Canelo by SD. He could adapt awkward styles.

 

15 rounds? Neutral impartial judges? Same day weigh in?

If yes to all of these I think Turpin gives a really good account of himself.
