Pac agreed to random testing, until the day of the fight. You cannot deny this fact. Random urine tests until the day of the fight and blood tests up to 24 days before.

And btw, some PED like EPO cannot be confirmed through blood tests. You should do your research.

"Random blood testing is the most effective way today" That is flat out false.

You ****ing moron. That list shows people busted. It does not say with blood. I said provide a source where it says blood test.

I've gone through at least 1/3 of that list. They were busted with the urine test.

Why are people still stating this as fact when it has repeatedly be shown as incorrect? Before the urine test for epo was developed it was not possible to distinguish between naturally occuring or synthetically introduced EPO in the body. All the blood testing could show was that an athletes haematocrit level exceed a certain arbitrary level.

No one is saying **** tests should be discontinued. However, blood testing is much harder to manipulate than a **** test.

Hey, moron, here's what happened on Mosley.

Somebody squealed on the U.S. Olympians using "the Cream" from Balco, the squealer also brought with him samples. THG steroid was identified and a test was developed. Balco was raided, list of their customers appeared, samples retested a lot were caught. Names on Balco's list included Mosley, Mosley denied it at first, then he finaly admitted.

Mosley was never caught because the steroid (THG) that he was using at that time was NOT on the list of banned substance.

well someone clearly said that blood testing is "more effective" than urine testing which is false. Also, if well conducted then the urine testing is just as hard to manipulate as the blood test.

Also, for those harping on about HGH, the 14 day window is not necessary for that. If Pac was using HGH then a random blood test up to 24 days from the fight would catch him. It would be useless for him to START using HGH after 24 days. Also, HGH leaves tracers in your blood that can last weeks. So he wouldn't be able to use HGH if the cut off date for random blood tests was 24 days.

According to the World Anti-Doping Agency, athletes usually use HGH in the off season, well before Olympic competition starts. Thats why noone was busted for HGH use during the Beijing Olympics, even though they started testing a few weeks in advance.

I'm still waiting on you to show the athlete busted from the blood test. let me repeat again since you have problem reading and comprehending, BLOOD TEST. That Wiki link you posted just says athlete that were caught. It does not say with the blood test.

You can't be serious....2008 Beijing, look at the people who got caught. What does the Olympics use in their testing? A combination of BOTH blood and urine tests. Once again, urine test alone is not enough.
