Maybe you should go to a comprehension class first. The source showed that Vinokurov got BLOOD SUPPLIES from his own blood to recover from a previous etappe, which of course naturally is BLOOD, not a STEROID. However, do you expect Pac getting BLOOD SUPPLIES in the middle of the fight ?

:patsch You clearly have no clue about what blood doping is and what it does so anything I discuss with you from here on out is pointless.

dont be a trumpeter, Arum proposed 3 scheduled blood tests with a 24-day cuttoff, so the idea that that same protocol would've caught the cheater is completely faulty and baseless. think for yourself noob

Hey I'll man up. I didn't check the cycling world, that's why i asked for someone to name anyone busted with the blood test.

Athletes don't re-inject blood very much anymore. Instead, cheating athletes will inject genetically engineered drugs which cause the body to create extra red blood cells. The most common type of blood doping chemical used is called EPO - which is used to treat patients who have kidney disease.

"concluded that urinary testing is the only scientifically validated method for direct detection of recombinant EPO. "

You forgot to mention that no person has been caught with HGH despite the fact that it has been tested by IOC since 2004.

What does that tell us???? No test is basically effective to detect HGH.

Now for those who do not know EPO, it is definitely tested with urine while blood is just used to screen it. The definitve test is urine.

    excerpt:

A team of scientists from the USA and Italy say they have developed a urine test that detects human growth hormone. The finding is a potential breakthrough in efforts to find a non-invasive way to screen for the performance-enhancing drug that is banned throughout the athletic world.
