Why do you completely ignore the 2008 Beijing olympics? BLOOD TESTING COMBINED WITH URINALYSIS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE METHOD.

Again, why do you harp on EPO? It is not for anyone to say. They test for what they test for. EPO is just ONE substance of MANY. There is a whole testing protocol to detect for many different markers.

If you go for a job dp they say, "We are going to do WEED testing."? They don't tell you which drug they are testing for. They test for a RANGE of drugs.

These guys keep saying EPO or Roids. I nor do they have the expertise to say what he is on. The only thing that can be done is for him to submit to a testing regimen and get the results.

If he is clean he would get that money. No man with a wife and kids turn down that much cash over a test he can pass.

 

Because among the classes of drugs being used for doping, only two in the early stages of doping technology, can be tested more acuurately using blood - HGH and EPO.

However, as technology caught up, the GOLD STANDARD for testing EPO is using URINE and not BLOOD. While it is true that HGH is detected better using blood, the technology is as primitive as it can be simply because no one has ever, ever, ever tested positive with it, despite thousands being tested.

The rest of the drugs can easily be tested using a urine specimen, since the active drug or its by-product or metabloite is easily detected using urine specimen, much more if the test is random.

BTW, IOC uses both blood and urine test, however, urine test to blood test has close to a 4:1 ratio. If Blood test is so superior, why then would IOC do majority of their test using urine?

Is the test better using random blood and urine vs. urine test, and one or two blood test???? No one has given any scientific basis on this issue except jsut plain conjectural, even among supposed experts in the field of doping.

By scientific basis, I mean under strict clinical trial.
