Amazing how someones fortune can change. Harris was good stuff then Witter beat him and he has never been the same since. One win against a journeyman in the last 5 years.

Maussa sparked him before Witter IIRC.

The Harris fight was the best performance of Witters career. Couldnt believe when Bradley beat him in his next fight.

Barnes was to have been top of this Bill 2 weeks ago on a friday.. but his opponent Guiseppie Lauri pulled out with a sketchy injury.. so they rescheduled getting Vivian as the sub opponent for Barnes.... Its only over 8 rounds though...

Yeah, the website of the promoter (Coldwell Boxing) had advertised the original date as "The Italian Job". Now they've rebranded it as "Vicious Intentions", and they've honored transfers for all ticket holders for the Italian Job card. :think Swell of 'em.

Early card. Doors @ 2pm, boxing off and running at 3pm local time? :blood

Is the idea to have the main event over with in time for Sunday high tea?

True but he was horribly gassed and the Logan, Johnston and Lazcano win seemed to revitalise him en route to the Witter fight.

Andy Scott reporting on the fight currently has it 38-38 at the halfway mark.

Fight is over, head clash caused Barnes to be cut and the ref stopped it. The fight was scored 48-48, so a TD.

    Thats a disappointing outcome.

David Barnes never fulfilled his potential at domestic/European level.
