Randy back? UFC Press Conference tomorrow

This is all pretty backwards in my opinion. Randy does a u-turn as does the UFC. Then he says his going to sign a new deal for so many years with the UFC?!?!?!?! His slated to face Lesnar and now theres talk of a cross promotion to bring us Fedor vs Couture afterwards?! When the UFC doesnt do cross promotions and Fedor is signed to Affliction? Its all pie in the sky. Even if Couture does renege on his word Lesnar is going to smash him up. Either way the Fedor Couture fight is well of the boil and throughly uninteresting now.

 

some people are hinting that this Couture return to UFC would be for 1 fight only. It is a way for greedy Dana to make some money and also hope that Couture loses to Lesnar so a Fedor fight would lose some of it's luster to the public.

If they're willing to let him fight fedor , then he better ****ing win his next fight vs Lesnar!...

 

I cant see him winning at all. Randy has a big heart but i believe the UFC are setting him up for a fall.

 

Couture and a one fight deal are the only ways everyone can come out a near winner. Even if Randy loses, a match with Fedor will be interesting. Anyone remember Mayweather vs. Judah? Judah had just lost previously to Baldomir, and the interest was still strong for that fight.

I just doubt that Dana is going to let Randy slip away if he somehow mangages a victory against Lesnar.

 

I think it all depends on how much money is on the table for a Lesnar fight.

You know it has to kill White that Fedor has already beat his current Heavyweight champ and just destroyed one of his former Heavyweight champs in like 36 seconds.

 

Randy should have enough skills to submit lesnar remember how easily frank mir trapped him.

 

UFC saw Lesnar do great against Herring. They have potentially the biggest star in MMA about to break out, all they need to do is legitimize him to the hardcore fans. They can't have him fight Nog because He'll get submitted, but Randy is far from a submission wizard. They pay Randy a big sum, hope that Lesnar beats him and then BOOM just like that Randy is gone and lesnar is a Star!

 

Heath Herring is nothing like Randy Couture. I like Heath but hes basically been a mid level guy his whole career always getting smashed vs elite guys or even less. I cant get to exicted about Brocks win over him considering it was only last year I watched Jake O Brien take him down at will.

 

Frank Mir is a submission specialist, Randy is more of GnP guy, which what Brock is except Brock is just a touch stronger, and faster. I really don't see Randy winning this fight.

 

I'm hearing it's now going to be at the MGM Grand and NOT Portland. ****!! I was hoping to go to that ****ing event...Randy or not.

 

Hopefully at 5 rounds Lesnar will tire enough for Randy to get him out of there...

 

Is Randy still considered the champ then? Or is big Nog still the interim title holder?
