I dont see why the UFC cant or wont pay more to its fighters. They sell out all there shows and have huge buyrates on average theres are better then HBO PPV boxing. Also with the DVDs,all the equipment and memoribilla they sell on the UFC shop site these guys should be making alot more money. Sure example a guy like Rich Franklin can get alot of cash for the win bonus,KOing his opponet, his sponsors, the PPV bonus and his movies and his endorsments but a star like him should be making close to a million for his fights same everyone else. Randy Couture is like a rock star now in his pouplarity much more well known them every boxer aside from Oscar and maybe Floyd but hes bitching about money and I dont blaim him. Id love for Fedor-Randy Couture to happen under Mark Cuban and each guy make like 2 million to force the UFC to up its pay before big stars start walking.
But its not only what he said, in that all of the UFC fighters combined make less income than Floyd does, , but also, he should have went on to say......... all of the UFC fighters combined, have less talent and skill than Floyd
I don't want to be part of your idiotic way of thinking either. Don't even call yourself a fan if you care about the money than the good fights. So definitely you are not part of "WE". Of course . . . I . . . like the rest wanted fighters to get paid . . . but it should not be a justification why fighters should be ducking any opponent. Get that . . . Shithead?
What you dont understand that MONEY will make good fights. Money will bring more young kids to boxing and thus making it better in the long run. As far as fighters so-called ducking for big money fights, well that is the FANS fault. If people didnt pay to watch old past thier prime guys like Oscar, Roy, and Tyson, then the younger fighters wouldnt be tempted to fight them now would they:hey Guys like you are so short sighted that you dont understand that the bigger the moment, the more money=greater return=better fighters and fights in the furture.
At the same time, many of the fighters in the UFC are under contract, what do you think will happen when they run out??? Do you think that they will re-sign. Remember when the WWF bought out the NWA, that also bought alot of contracts, and pretty much screwed alot of those guys over. Vince was thinking, well, where can you go??? That is how TNA got started, it was started by the TALENT. Now with so many different ones popping up I really think that the UFC is at a crossroads. If they dont start paying the TALENT they will lose the TALENT.

Since UFC bought (the much superior) Pride, where would they go? All the other organisations are just where you go to make a name for yourself and get into UFC as far as I can tell.
Soon UFC pay will catch up with and surpass the biggest boxing star pay day. Just like UFC surpassed boxing in terms of popularity among the younger 18-33 generation. And hardcore boxing fans were in denial of this fact for the longest time. UFC doesnt rob their paying fans with pillow dances in the ring. UFC doesnt rob their fans with pathetic lackluster undercards for $60.0. UFC will surpass boxing in all aspects, I know I'm a boxing fan but I feel thats the reality
HUH? UFC is NOT bigger than Boxing in the US or any where else for that matter. Just look at the PPV stats. The bottom line is that worldwide people find MMA hard to watch because its boring, and kinda weird. I know its more like a real fight and all that. But i don't really want to watch two tatted up men with mohawks wrestle each other? If the audience was there they would make more money, its as simple as that. I hear this crap all the time from people I work with. What i tell them is 99% of MMA guys can't box at a high level. If they could they would be boxers and make way more money. Or is it that they are all potential champion boxers, but beleive so much in their sport that they give up millions of dollars? Please! UFC is on level with the WWF in my view and will never get much bigger than it is right now.
