Randy Couture vs. James Toney at August's UFC 118 in Boston?

    randy would just clinch against the cage its not likr he will stand and bang i wish they would so randy can get knfo i hate couture

    Good point about Dana's rationale for this fight if it really happens. You're right, he's gotta be thinking he has to make some cash off Toney cuz Toney would lose to any of the ufc's lhw's and hw's on their roster, so he's best off cashing in with a name like couture. Toney must need money cuz he has no shot to do anything mma wise and he could get hurt. But really how much could toney make for this fight given that the ufc can be rather stingy?? Hardly seems worth it to get embarrased liike he will in an honest cage fight.

    I do, Randy was incapable of avoiding the very basic straight right of Chuck Liddel and he's only gotten older and slower since. Emphasis on could though, i'd make Couture a strong favourite but until Randy puts Toney away with a submision etc he's in serious danger, I just wish it was Toney from a few years ago and not the punchy fat fooker of present.

    I agree. I expect Randy to win. However, he is so much slower now than he was even a few years; I can see a scenario where he could get himself into some trouble.
