Randy Couture vs Mark Coleman?

I kinda got a kick out of it when I read it on sherdog. As a Couture fan I love it because its a fight he will most likely win. Since its only after month after id like to see Randy get in there with the Rashad-Thiago so if Randy does get another title noboddy can say the same old **** like hes overatted and didnt deserve it. Im not saying hes beating everyone im just dreaming alittle.

 

A joke of a fight.

 

Coleman is past his peak, and may be older at 44 than Randy is at 46. Coleman still isn't shot. Coleman was more than just competitive with Shogun, and defeated Bonnar.

Randy should win if he keeps the fight standing. It's not a done deal for Coleman if he takes Couture down, but Coleman did exhibit technical superiority to Dan Severn many years ago.

 

their wrestling is probably about equal but I think randy's cardio and dirty boxing will win him this fight

 

Coleman still has a good double leg left in him, but thats about it. Even if he could take Randy down, he couldn't grapple with Randy for long without getting worn out and overwhelmed. Standing, Randy KO'd him. hAving said that, Coleman looked a lot better against Bonnar and it seemed he was right about a new camp really helping, but Randy is and has been competing at a way higher level for years now.

You got a good point Its funny to watch the orignal TUF fighters improve quite a bit and this guy in the last 5 years has not improved one bit.

 

Dont be ridiculous. You said Coleman doesn't belong at 205 and you don't want to see him humiliated anymore when in fact, Coleman is doing just fine at 205 beating a respected guy with good wins in Bonnar and giving Shogun his toughest fight in the UFC next to Forrest.

Why dont you dig into that massive trawl of cognitive skills and intelligience that you possess and explain to the board what a great fighter Bonnar is. Whilst your at it explain to the board how Coleman despite being a career heavy who admitted that he never evolved much as a fighter during his HammerHouse days is going to be this force of nature that you describe at 205 when he's nearing the half century mark. I eagerly await your answer.
