    Yes thats right!
Beating both Tim Sylvia and Gabriel Gonzaga in the space of 6 months is far far more impressive than Fedor beating a pumped up 185lb'er.

    1.Randy
    2.Fedor
    3.Nog
    4.Barnett
    5.Sylvia

Sure Fedor was/is great but at the moment hes living of past accomplishments, another fighter has faced and beaten better comp than Fedor has recently so deserves to be ranked ahead.

I think the thing with Fedor for me is I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be destroying people if he was fighting.

I won't base my fighter rankings on speculation.

It depends on how you rank fighter's again if it's just on acheivement or h2h between them as well as acheivement.

Well, if they fought one another then yes I of course use H2H but I won't factor in speculation when it comes to H2H if two fighters haven't fought yet.

I just don't see Couture beating Fedor, thus it's hard for me to personally rank Couture over Fedor. If you like to use something more scientific then ok.

    No.

Plus, when will people learn that Lindland wasn't 185lbs nor is he a natural 185lb. Do you understand the concept of cutting weight in hopes of doing better at lower weight divisions? Forrest weighs 250 lbs when not fighting. Lindland weighs 210 when not fighting plus he was gaining muscle weight by lifting. As far as i remember he weighted in somewhere between 215-220.

Randy should be ranked higher for beating 2 people? First, hardly anyone ranked Randy top 10 before Sylvia fight. Now all of a sudden he is supposed to be ranked #1 because he beat SYLVIA and GONZAGA? Are you serious? If Sylvia AND Gonzaga were #1 and #2 than YES. He has a good argument to be considered #1 HW in the world...

    What a joke.

    Absolutley.

Sylvia and Gonzaga are better fighters than Lindland fighting at heavyweight.
My rankings are based on the recent occurances at HW, how long are you guys going to keep Fedor at 1 after not fighting for so long?
There comes a time when due to a fighters inactivity he can no longer be ranked at the top.

Fedor hasn't fought a true heavyweight since Hunt and before that not since Crocop who just happened to have his head kicked into the stratosphere by GG, who Randy destroyed.

Based on recent fights, Randy deserves the number 1 spot. Instead of attacking the finer points of my arguement regarding Lindland give me your case for keeping Fedor at 1.

that's my list until we see Fedor fight any of the guys on this list.

if he fights Monson as is rumoured, it won't change my top 5 heavy rankings. christ big Tim out grappled the guy.

Err big time is a hard match up for monson as he is about 1 and 1/2 foot taller than him, where as monson is a good match for anyone who isn't stpuidly tall.

I've said it before why Fedor should be ranked #1, it takes too much to write to list all reasons.
You've brought up Randy being at #1, so I'm arguing your position.
Randy broke GG's nose in half after which he started destroying Gonzaga. Fightin with broken nose that is bleeding into your eyes and perform is nearly impossible. If anything that should've been an NC because it was cause by accidental headbutt.
You cannot possibly rank Randy over Nog based on your ranking. Nog has only unavenged loss is to Fedor. He has been active vs VERY solid HW such as Barnette, Werdum and Herring. So, how exactly beating 2 decent hws with 16-8 record gets you a rank over someone beating 3 decent hws with a record of 30-4??

He didnt out grapple him. He out sprawled him. When Monson actually took Tim down he was already gassed from gettin jabbed so many times.
