Who has Nog beaten in the past 10 months of note? Herring? Nog almost got knocked spark out!

This is based on recent accomplishment. Randy has done far more beaten far better fighters and achieved much more than Barnett, Nog and Fedor have in the past 10 months!
This isn't opinion, this is fact.

I am going to rank fighters on what they have achieved here and now, in the present not more than half a year ago.

Lindland wrestled at 167 in 2000, he does not cut much if any weight to make 185, its his natural weightclass.

Whats fact? The fact that you're heavily biased?
Why 10 months? Why not 12 months? He had 4 fights in 12 months. Thats same proportion as Coutures 2 fights in 6 months. Nog hasn't beaten anyone of note in last 10 months? Barnett is not of note? Herring is not of note? Werdum 12 months before last fight not of note either?
Thats not an opinion, its a fact? WOOOOOOOOOOOOW
This conversation is over till you get a clue buddy.

Beebs, in 2000 not only was Lindland smaller AND he cut a lot of weight. Either way he weighed in like 15 lbs under Fedor, which is not that much smaller to disregard as a win.
I'll give you that submitting Lindland is not up to par to wins over Tim or Gonzaga, but there isn't a HUGE gap. I just think people underrate the win enough not to even consider it one.

i also find it funny that people discount monson becuase of a loss to sylvia, styles make fights and monson would be a harder fight for randy than alot of other fighters, it's just that sylvia is to tall for a short guy like monson.

Again, instead of nitpicking arguements and semantics with me I want to hear your case for having Fedor over Randy on recent achievements.

A fighter cannot live on the past all the time.
Put forward your case for Fedor being above Randy.

    My ranking

    Fedor
    Nog
    Barnette
    Couture

And, I think Barnette would be more live VS. Fedor than Couture would. I'd also favor both Nog and Barnette over Couture. I think Barnette would destroy him, again.

Fedor beat nog in his prime twice. Cant rank him lower than Nog. Fedor was active even if it wasnt against top competition. You have Couture ranked #1. I disputed it using YOUR preferences. What else is there to say? Plus, how can i possibly win an argument against you when you think your opinions are facts. :patsch

Barnett that high is absurd. He hasn't won a fight in over a year and has lost 2 of his last 3.

Is it? Well take a look at Randy's last five. And, lets argue.. Randy has not been active enough in the past 2 years. Barnette had fought 7 times, while Couture fought 3.

Last 7 fights, Barnette is five and two with a victory over big Nog. Randy has was knocked the **** out by a light heavy (twice) and has beaten Tim Sylvia and Gonzaga..

Versus Aleksander Emelianenko, Mark Hunt (better than Tim Sylvia) and Big Nog for Barnette, and on top of this Barnett having arleady made Couture look like an old man 5 years ago when he was only a semi old man.. I have to give Barnette the nod.

A fighter's recent achievements is not the sole criteria for ranking him against other fighters when determining the top P4P list. That's something that Iron Duke needs to understand. Really, the best case for determining fighters' rankings is to analyze their records and their fight performances. Ever consider the fact that losses degrade a fighter's credibility, opposite to increasing it when beating top opponents? Randy was recently knocked out twice by Liddell, contributing to 8 losses in his career. Fedor has never lost a fight (not counting his first match with Kohsaka), and that counts for a lot.

Because you're so caught up with time, consider that Fedor actually fought more since 2005 than Randy. But recent activity alone does not determine rankings. Overall career accomplishments does. If Randy and Fedor retired today, people will look back at their records, not the amount of time they took as sabbaticals. Fedor has accomplished more in his career than Randy.

Sylvia is a top 10 guy, wins over Vera, Arlovski twice, and Ricco...throw Monson in for good measure
Mark Hunt is not with wins over....well one split decision over CroCop.
Tim is by far a bigger scalp, he'd won more fights in a row going into the Couture fight than Hunt has won total.

Couture dominated two top ten guys, Barnett beat one and then lost to him. Couture has just looked much more impressive, Barnett hasn't really looked spectacular since Hunt, he's shown resilience and ways to win, but Aleks and Natsula both gave Barnett a handfull.

Based on the international guidelines for ranking fighters written by you?
