its my first time to see this....watched it all last night.....i am guessing this was made in early 80s..maybe before...this really goes into the real randy turpin story..things that were happening in his life...and what a fascinating story....how he feared for his life in the end...how he wanted to be hurt vs bobo olson because he was so depressed.....trust me, this is not like a regular documentary, its is definitely worth watching my old trainer, jackie turpin is here at 16.30....its first video i have found of him on youtube talking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSS3oLP3YlY
Just seen it.Very good doc,in fact quite excellent. Gordon Williams did a very good job going threw all the details and such and leaving not many stones untouched. The twist about the money at the end is quite Hollywood-like.Maybe Turpin was sane like he said in his letter but did his end out of fear. Anyway very good look into the 64 Day Champ Randolph Turpin.
