What happened to Turpin this fight? He was stopped in the first round against Mitri, who was a solid fighter, but had a 25% KO rate. Had he really fallen off the rails that badly just 3 years after defeating SRR?
I don't see a clear knockout punch. Mitri catches him with a left and then pushes him to the canvas. Turpin bangs his head on the canvas which is where the damage seems to have been done. Turpin claimed that he had been dazzled by a camera flash. Turpin was in decline at this point. His eyes were out of alignment and he had double vision.
