Armstrong > Leonard > Duran > Gans, I think. Duran and Gans are interchangeable for me, today I'm leaning towards Duran.

Can we talk about how Benny Leonard is 4-0 against Soldier Bartfield, a guy that had gotten the better of a prime Harry Greb not once, but arguably twice ? That is utter insanity.

 

Based on greatness, pound for pound, who would beat who- What are we ranking, exactly?

 

Exactly how I would rank them.

I originally wanted to rank Gans higher,but thinking again,p4p wise Leonard was more brave to move up in weight despite washed up,I think that's what edged Leonard higher in achievements.

 

This is the order I see it too.

 

Duran , Armstrong are at the top and interchangeable, but personally Duran for me.
Leonard and Gans are 2nd tier to the above two.

At lightweight:

Armstrong had a limited career at lightweight, but a successful one.

If you are talking p4p:

He weighed w/in or very near the 135 lb limit for much of his WW title reign though, which should count toward assessing his quality as a LW IMO.
