    After completing the 1st round of the tourney, how do you rank the fighterssolely on their chances of winning the tournament.


    I have them as follows.....

    Abraham
    Ward
    Kessler
    Dirrell
    Froch
    Taylor

    Really down on Kessler, huh. I can't blame you....he looked bad. I do think he will prepare better from here on and am willing to chalk it up to having a bad night/bad prep. Plus, Froch is a little more of his preferred style of opponent.

    Takes a lot to put Dirrell over Froch because of how he played his cards but no matter how he did, he still won the game with them.

    Kessler showed the most disappointing performance of all super six fighters in the first round of tournament.

    If there's one thing Ward has proven to me over his last several fights is that he can develop a winning gameplan, execute it, and stay focused enough to follow it through the entire fight. Head to head, I'd favor Ward over Abraham right now. Abraham is just as predictable as Kessler, if not more so. The only question in my mind is whether Ward's punches are accurate enough to actually land on Abraham.
